Yogi to open management fest at IIM Lucknow!!!

Away from the humdrum of politics and governance, Uttar Pradesh chief minister Yogi Adityanath will brush shoulders with the industry captains and budding managers at the Indian Institute of Management, Lucknow (IIM-L).

 

Yogi would inaugurate the three-day 5th Pan-IIM World Management Conference 2017 on December 14. It is an annual event of the IIMs and supported by the union HRD ministry.

 

Besides, Yogi would inaugurate ‘Digital Street, an expo showcasing leading innovations and technologies on the theme of Digital India, much espoused by Prime Minister Narendra Modi.

 

The previous editions of the conference were hosted by IIM Calcutta (2013), IIM Kozhikode (2014), IIM Indore (2015) and IIM Ahmedabad (2016).

 

The forum provides a platform to academicians, researchers, practitioners, policy makers and thought leaders to exchange ideas and foster collaboration. It comprises exhibitions, conferences, awards in a single, unique & distinctive global platform in India.

 

The inaugural session would also be attended by union minister of state for communications Manoj Sinha, who would deliver the keynote address on the contribution of the telecom sector in India.

 

Union minister of petroleum, natural gas, skill development and entrepreneurship Dharmendra Pradhan would speak on the challenges and opportunities in the public service delivery.

 

Cellular Operations Association of India (COAI) Director General Rajan S Mathews apart from other senior government and autonomous bodies’ chief executives and officials would enrich the proceedings with their talks.

 

Speakers representing top companies viz. State Bank of India (SBI) , Life Insurance Corporation (LIC) , HDFC Bank and the directors of IIMs would also address the conference.

 

Union HRD minister Prakash Javadekar is slated to deliver the valedictory address on December 16.
