Controversial and Mafiya turned politician Bahujan Samaj Party (BSP) leader Mukhtar Ansari on Thursday accused Union minister and Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) leader Manoj Sinha of conspiring his murder.
Speaking on Lucknow on Thrusday Ansari said, his life is in danger as Union Minister is conspiring to kill him.
“My life is under threat and with these intentions I am being transferred from Lucknow district jail to the Banda jail. Union minister and BJP MP Manoj Sinha is conspiring to kill me,” said Ansari.
The Uttar Pradesh government on Thursday issued an order to shift Ansari to the Banda district jail on administrative grounds.
Ansari is an accused in the murder of BJP MLA Krishnanand Rai from Gazipur.
The BSP leader MLA Ansari was in Agra jail from where he was transferred to Lucknow district jail in June 2016. He has been in jail since 2005.
